Warriors Upadate: Warriors Final Roster Spot Signing Upadate, Golden State Warriors News and Rumors

The golden state warriors final roster spot signing, and we’re going to be discussing a former warrior actually in Alfonzo Mckinnie so Alfonzo is 29 years old he’s been in the league for five years he’s actually played for five different teams and in his second year back in 2018 2019 he played 72 games for the golden state warriors 72 games he had five starts, he was actually very important in one of those starts only 14 minutes a night five points three and a half rebounds shot 36 from downtown 49 from the field he was just a huge depth piece for him he was a huge depth piece for him he played every single game in the playoffs.

Now he only played 11 minutes, but he actually ended up starting one of those, and they he was just like a cr it was so crazy because you know it’s not like he was crazy young at 26 years old, but he was so new he was so raw into the league that i remember when he first in his first season when he was with toronto there were thoughts that maybe just maybe he could turn out to be you know a really solid role player on a championship level team which you know no disrespect to toronto they were that season, but he only played 3.8 minutes a night in his rookie year just 14 games so golden state decides to scoop him up.

And they give him actually a very solidified role you know 72 games played in the year you went 57 in 25 and you unfortunately lost to the toronto raptors in the nba finals that was a loaded team man that was a very loaded team so at six seven 215 pounds he is just a perfect three and d player you know like i said that year with golden state he took a couple of threes a night, and he made them at a 36 percent clip so this is you know the 15th spot we’re not talking anything crazy here you know we’re talking mainly depth we’re talking mainly a role player here but i think you know he’s played with the stuff he’s played with clay he’s played with dre he has played with Seth curry’s played under the warriors system he knows his role he you know he’s a just solid role player you know he’s not looking to do too much.

But he’s still chipping away i think this would just be a good move i mean you know we’re getting so late into the off-season where you know training camp is basically going to start very soon in a couple of weeks here and it’s not looking like golden state’s going to make any move we still don’t really have a decision on andre iguodala if he’s coming back for another season which my guess is he’d be the 15th guy my guess is he announces it on his podcast sometime probably in the next week or two.
