After missing the last 10 games due to knee and elbow sprains, Tyrese Haliburton rejoined the Pacers’ starting lineup on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. During the first quarter of the game, Haliburton was named an Eastern Conference All-Star reserve.

This announcement was made to the enthusiasm of Indiana fans, who saw Haliburton take the place of the former Pacers All-Star, Domantas Sabonis, who was traded to the Sacramento Kings. This trade has benefited both teams, as Sabonis is again an All-Star, and the Kings are potentially inching closer to ending their long playoff drought. Indiana Pacers fans rejoiced Thursday night as the Pacers arena announced that guard Tyrese Haliburton had been named an Eastern Conference All-Star reserve.

Haliburton, who was acquired via trade last year to replace Domantas Sabonis, had been a key part of Indiana’s success, going 1-9 during a stretch in his absence.
