If Patrick Beverley were traded and then bought out it looks like the Minnesota Timberwolves could be a team that he would end up returning to and also it looks like the Miami Heat could be a potential destination for Russell Westbrook.
If he ended up being traded and then bought out now we actually got some information on what’s going on with a potential Russell Westbrook Los Angeles Lakers trade today that was pretty big and I feel like indicates what the Los Angeles Lakers are looking at doing moving forward as currently they have had some promising signs on the season that they could really turn things around and become a solid team in the Western Conference.
But right now they’re still trying to fight their way up in the standings it looks like Russell Westbrook’s future in La is more certain than it was at least previously we had seen a ton of Russell Westbrook trade rumors throughout the entirety of the off season but at this point it looks like the Lakers might actually end up keeping him around Russell Westbrook has been playing Better Off the Bench.
The Los Angeles Lakers were able to bring in two or maybe even three quality role players in a trade that involved Russell Westbrook they would get more production just due to the fact that they would be adding multiple players in a potential trade.
And I feel like that is what the real issue with having Russell Westbrook on this team is now if the Lakers could make some type of move involving Patrick Beverly and Kendrick Nunn to improve their overall depth maybe add some wings there could be a possible way for them to compete as we move forward like I said.
I just think that a Russell Westbrook trade is a real opportunity for the Lakers to improve their overall rotational depth which has definitely been a struggle for them this season.
And when you look at some of the best teams in the league they have deep rotations they have a lot of guys they can go to a team that comes to mind immediately is the Boston Celtics the Lakers ended up losing to them recently and the Los Angeles Lakers they have LeBron James and Anthony Davis who they rely upon for heavy minutes and what ended up happening in that overtime game is we didn’t see much production from LeBron or A.D they had already played a ton.
And the Celtics while they did go to their guys in Tatum and brown quite a bit throughout the game and they played heavy minutes the thing is the Celtics do have a deep rotation of guys that they can go to and even when you’re not just looking at things like fatigue the Celtics have more guys they can use situationally if injuries come up they have guys they can go to I mean in that game against the Lakers Robert Williams and Al Horford were out but the Celtics were still able to get a win despite LeBron James and Anthony Davis both having good games.
