Today I’m going to be talking about a dark horse buyout candidate for the Los Angeles Lakers if Seth Curry was bought out by the Brooklyn Nets even though the Lakers already have a crowded back court Curry could provide a lot of shooting for their team he’s at nearly 44 for his career from the three-point line he’s also a great mid-range shooter he can get to his spots in the mid-range area and hit those as well he could be a guy who if he was bought out by the Brooklyn Nets he would be a player who a lot of teams would have interest in but when you look at the net situation right now they currently have Cam Thomas, and they also traded for Spencer Dinwiddie when Kyrie Irving left the team which means maybe there won’t be too many minutes left for Seth Curry and a crowded rotation with quite a few guards and cam Thomas put together a string of 40-point games which was ridiculous I’d encourage you to check out some of the highlights from those His scoring abilities are amazing.
I really like the elevation he gets on his jump shot. I think he has a tonne of potential as a young player, but with them having so much potential, I think that the Nets would like to give him opportunities to shine and play heavy minutes because at this point, although they have a solid roster, I wouldn’t say they’d be contenders, and maybe a guy like Seth Curry could be a buyout candidate as a result of that.
If Curry wants to go to a contender and the Lakers are looking to upgrade the roster, I think he’d be a great fit because he could add more shooting, and I know they have a lot of guards, but as this article from the police report says, teams should watch basically all of them, because Seth Curry as a shooter, there will be so many teams out there, even if he’d be Darvin ham does like to run a lot of guard heavy lineups and I also saw something that it seems like he’s going to stick with Dennis Schroeder and D’Angelo Russell as his starting guard so it seems like he doesn’t mind going smaller and if he was able to get more shooting from a guy like Seth Curry maybe he’d still be willing to go small and I think that Curry could definitely help out the roster with the shooting capabilities even if he wasn’t playing a tonne of minutes he’s a guy who can shoot the ball well and if you had another shooter on the roster who was going through a cold streak you wanted to get him some minutes I think he could be a good addition to the team for that he’s a guy who a couple years ago was putting up some really nice scoring numbers he had a good playoff run with Philadelphia that I can remember and I feel like he could be a guy who could help out a team through a postseason run and it’ll really be interesting to see how the buyout Market develops as we move forward maybe we’ll see some surprise names enter the buyout Market because it has been pretty active so far.
