The Los Angeles Lakers after getting a three-game win streak coming off of a big win against the Miami Heat, maybe they’ll be more inclined to make a move heading up to the trade deadline the trade deadline is February 9th and right now we’re already at January 5th I’m sure it’s surprising for a lot of people to see that the Lakers have yet to make a move.
I mean the way this Lakers team has been able to perform has been promising and at certain points indicated that maybe they were a couple pieces away of being Championship contenders but it seems like the Lakers are still stargazing trying to find that star player who could form a big three with LeBron James and Anthony Davis Lakers tried to do that by trading for Russell Westbrook, But ultimately I don’t think that things have worked out exactly the way that they’ve expected them to Russell Westbrook has been good in his bench role.
But I think that the Lakers expected to have a big star our big three that would end up winning a lot of games and last year the Lakers ended up missing the Playoffs also Bojan Bogdanovic is another trade Target for the Lakers and it looks like the Pistons are looking for at least one first rounder and either a young player with upside or additional draft capital in exchange for Bojan bogdanovic for the Los Angeles Lakers this might be too much to ask I mean the Lakers have been really reluctant to trade their first round picks and maybe they’re encouraged by the play of their rotational guys.
And they wouldn’t be willing to give up future first to try and make a move like that for boy on bogdanovic it seems like the Lakers at least based on reports would rather give up those two future firsts if it meant adding a star and it seems like for Bojan bogdanovic the Lakers would have to give up significant draft capital and who knows if they’d be willing to do that,
I mean they had a chance to trade for him prior to the start of the season but the Pistons ended up doing it and I think that Bowen would have fit in so well with the Lakers but for now you look at the Lakers team and you see that guys are stepping up and trying to fill in even in the absence of players is great as LeBron James and Anthony Davis Russell Westbrook almost had a triple double against Miami he had some big plays down the stretch Austin Rivers had that wonderful pass to Westbrook to make a key play at the very end of the game West world got an M1 layup also Dennis Schroder he was amazing against the Miami Heat he dropped 32 points, he also had four Steals on the night as well it was a great game for Dennis Schroder.
he also came up with some timely plays down the stretch for the Lakers as they were able to get a win over a Miami Heat team that did have Jimmy Butler, bam adebayo out of bio and Tyler hero all playing a huge win Kyle Lowry was also out there if the Lakers are able to put together some more wins it’ll be interesting to see if the front office decides that’s good enough to make some more moves to try and improve the roster.
