Lakers rumors: lakers trade new players sterling brown

Sterling Brown has signed a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Lakers he will be available to play tonight against the Atlanta Hawks so a pretty fast turnaround from him signing to him already playing with the team.

Sterling brown

When you look at Sterling Brown’s game he is six foot five and it’s likely that the Lakers will play him on the wing as they need guys who can defend which he is good at and then also he is above 36 percent from three for his career so hopefully he can be a good floor spacer for the Lakers as well because the Lakers do need that they could really use his defense as well and with some injuries piling up having another player on the team will definitely help out Lakers, because for tonight’s game they’re going to be missing out on Austin Rivers, Lonnie Walker IV, Damien Jones and of course Anthony Davis who has been out for quite some time now Austin Rivers started sometimes Lonnie Walker IV and Anthony Davis were starting for the Lakers.

So they’re missing out on some key players Damien Jones got some minutes here there in the rotation as well and Sterling Brown should at least help the Lakers add some additional depth to the rotation in the absence of some key players it will definitely be tough for LA to move forward as they were already struggling without Anthony Davis and it seems like they’re starting to put things together a bit more lately without Anthony Davis winning three in a row most recently it went over the heat without LeBron James and it’ll be interesting to see how Sterling Brown can contribute in his tenure with the Lakers.

Because he is on a 10-day contract and we’ll have to see if he ends up getting more 10-day deals or if he ends up staying with the Lakers long term that’ll be something interesting to monitor as the Lakers move forward it’s also important to note that Sterling Brown was with the Milwaukee Bucks for two seasons.

When Darwin ham was an assistant coach there so there should be some familiarity between Sterling Brown and Darvin Hamm so hopefully that will allow Sterling ground to be more comfortable with the Los Angeles Lakers as he enters onto the roster on this 10-day contract the Lakers are going to have a back to back coming up this game tonight against the Atlanta Hawks and then the game coming up against the Houston Rockets the day following so he should have an opportunity to immediately contribute especially in the absence of some key rotational guys if he can be a good Defender and a good three-point shooter for Lakers that would be absolutely huge and the Lakers need Wings even when they don’t have injuries.

So bringing in Sterling Brown should really help them out and also there’s some other Lakers news the Lakers ended up guaranteeing the contracts of Austin Rivers and when Gabriel for the rest of the season they’ve both played well this season so that was well deserved for both of those guys.
