Lakers News: los Angeles Lakers Jae Crowder Trade Update

Jae Crowder trade update, so I’ve been seeing some trade ideas on Instagram Twitter what have you just online in general for Jae Crowder.

Now the issue with Jae Crowder is it’s purely financial and the reason I’m bringing that up is because you got to match salaries Jae Crowder is an expiring contract so that definitely doesn’t help his trade value which in the Lakers case is good, but he’s making 10.2 million dollars a year so it’s not impossible for the Lakers to make a trade happen but it’s certainly not ideal it’s certainly not ideal in fact the Lakers aren’t even in the top shooter rumor the three top suitors that are rumored to acquire Jae Crowder via trade before the start of the regular season.

Honestly if I had to make a prediction I think Jae Crowder will probably be traded in the next three or four days it’s the Mavs it’s a Celtics and it’s the Bulls and it’s all players that or it’s all teams that have players on you know not big contracts, but they’re able to match the salaries so the issue is not even really an issue because you know no harm no foul really with the Lakers they have a much improved roster and I truly believe even if they didn’t make a lot of the moves they made like trade them for Patrick Beverley getting done a shrewd or even getting lower key guys like Thomas Bryant Damian Jones JTA et cetera Etc the Lakers still would have improved because one thing that they couldn’t do last season was just stay healthy particularly Anthony Davis, LeBron James didn’t really help either.

So the Lakers aren’t missing out on you know it’s not like if they don’t get Jay crowded or not winning the NBA finals or you won’t have a shot at winning the NBA Finals, he’s just a great culture of Peace he’s a Workhorse he knows what to do he’s high IQ he can guard multiple players he can guard multiple positions he can knock down an open three he can create for himself he can pass a little bit he can rebound he’ll get you some steals he’ll get you some Blocks he’s just every coach’s dream I view it similarly to when the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Finals two years ago I stand by this take I don’t think if they had PJ Tucker and his defensive versatility and his ability to knock down that open three or a contest of three just the three in general I don’t think the Bucks would have won I really think he was The X Factor in that Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks final.

So that’s the way I view Jae Crowder going to Los Angeles is yeah if it were to happen well I think the lake I already think the Lakers have a good shot at making it but it really would have solidified my view on the Los Angeles Lakers because he’s just that versatile when we look at this Lakers roster what is the one thing if you had to nitpick the roster what is their one flaw it’s winged up so it’s not the end-all be-all it’s not the end of the world because there will be plenty of other players that come up that are either disgruntled or on expiring contracts on bad teams that you know younger teams like the Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, the San Antonio Spurs will be looking to unload guys like Doug McDermott, Rudy Gay etc whether it’s buyout or just low trade value there will be plenty of opportunities.

I just really think man of Jae Crowder some way somehow found his way onto the Los Angeles Lakers that it would almost be a GG if they just stayed healthy there’s no way shape or form they don’t at least make the Western Conference Finals.
