Is Zach Lavine trying to force his way to the Lakers that’s what some NBA Executives believe and if the Los Angeles Lakers could pull off a trade for Zach Lavine it would be absolutely huge but you have to consider the fact that the Lakers still likely wouldn’t be adding many role players in that trade scenario.
And they’d probably be left in a similar position where they have some star players, but they just don’t have the right role players around them now is adding Levine enough to help out this Lakers team and take him to that next level I guess we’d have to see if the Lakers ended up making that move also there’s been trade rumors surrounding Trae young as well there’s been a ton of trade rumors around the league and as the trade deadline approaches I’m sure that we’ll see more of them.
And looking at the Los Angeles Lakers Zach Lavine is not eligible to be traded until January 15th and when you look at the Bulls they’ve been struggling so far this season but I’m sure that they’re not going to be super quick to give it up because considering the fact that they did end up giving up picks to add to Marty Rosen and Nikola vucevic and they’ve only really been running with the big three of Lavine DeRozan and vucevic for the entirety of last season and then some of this year it really hasn’t been long that they’ve had these guys on the roster but the success that they’ve had this year has surely been underwhelming.
And if the Lakers were willing to give up both of their future first round picks to add Zach Lavine and then also Kobe white to make the salaries match maybe the Bulls would be willing to make this trade happen if they decided to move towards a rebuild but a rebuild could actually make some sense with DeMar DeRozan getting older but still playing at such a high level if the Chicago Bulls were to trade him so many teams are looking to contend right now I bet that they would end up getting a great trade they could help them position themselves towards a rebuild and try to think about the future and the same goes if they were to trade Zach Lavine.
And with that the Lakers they still are trying to go after a star player it looks like the Lakers are only interested in trading their 2027 and 2029 first round picks if the deal elevates them to title Contender status and there’s been rumored interest in Star players like Bradley Beal, Damian Lillard and Kevin Durant so looking at a guy like Zach Lavine a guy who’s been an All-Star I think that he would fit a player who the Lakers are looking at as somebody who could Elevate them to contend or status and with that if the Bulls could get two future valuable Lakers picks it could be something to consider with all the trade rumors around the league I’m sure that this time leading up to the trade deadline is going to be fascinating.
