Rob Pelinka is willing to trade the Los Angeles Lakers first round picks, but they just have to find the right trade, so a trade scenario that I feel like could make the Los Angeles Lakers legitimate contenders.
In this trade scenario the Lakers would be adding Myles Turner and Buddy Hield along with Jae Crowder as Jae Crowder and the suns are working to find a trade, so in this trade scenario the Los Angeles Lakers would be trading away Russell Westbrook Kendrick Nunn and Max Christie they would also be giving up their 2029 first-round pick and their 2027 first-round pick, and they would be adding Jae Crowder Myles Turner and Buddy Hield they would also be getting a future second-round pick from the Indiana Pacers just because it seems like they’ve been reluctant to give up those two firsts.
So maybe at least getting some type of draft capital in return in a potential trade would make them more willing to try and make a move happen so what I really like about this trade is the Lakers would be adding a ton of additional shooting they would add another Wing in Jae Crowder they would get a legitimate three-point Sharpshooter and Buddy Hield they would improve their defense a ton with Jae Crowder and Myles Turner and overall I feel like this type of move would solidify their depth and solidify them as contenders in the Western Conference.
Because right now the Lakers are really in need of wings they would get another one with Jae Crowder also they would be trading away three players in this trade scenario,
So they’d be left with one open roster spot if they wanted to further bolster their wing depth but when you look at their guard depth they would have Patrick Beverley, and they would also have Dennis Schroder to be their guards when you look at their wings they would have LeBron James they would also have Joan Toscano Anderson when Gabriel and Troy Brown Jr along with Jae Crowder this trade would help the Los Angeles Lakers out a ton they would space the floor out much better because they line up with Patrick Beverley Buddy Hield LeBron A. D and Myles Turner with space the floor pretty well and I feel like it would help the Lakers mitigate the issues when it comes to their depth on the roster and just putting too much of a load on LeBron James and Anthony Davis due to their injury issues and Darvin Ham said he didn’t want LeBron and A. D playing really heavy minutes early on in the season.
I think that should be a point of emphasis especially with their recent injury issues I know LeBron has been somewhat healthy but Anthony Davis has really struggled with his injury issues and I think that adding additional theft would help mitigate those injuries because they would have more guys who they could depend on in the rotation so that when you take out LeBron and A.D you still have guys who can depend on to keep the team going as the game continues.
