We might finally see things start to get moving around, the league as the Utah Jazz and the New York Knicks have re-engaged on Donovan Mitchell trade conversations in addition, to that there are also some other teams that are interested in Donovan Mitchell as well.

I think that a trade centered around Jaylen Brown would be great, if you’re the Brooklyn nets because he’s significantly younger than Kevin Durant, and could give the nets a lot of good years with the team, when you look at the Utah Jazz it looks like the Charlotte hornets and Washington Wizards are trying to get in the mix, when it comes to trying to trade for Donovan Mitchell.
Recently I came up with a trade scenario, where Kevin Durant would go to boston Donovan Mitchell would go to New York, Kyrie Irving would go to Lakers it’s a pretty big trade scenario, I want to look over this because I think it’s kind of interesting, so in this scenario kyrie, Evan Fournier and cam reddish would join the lakers, patrick Beverley, Bojan Bogdanovic Jaylen Brown, Derrick white and obi Toppin would join the Brooklyn nets, and then the Utah Jazz would give Russell Westbrook, Quentin grimes,Talen Horton tucker and a plethora of future first-round picks, so I think for the Brooklyn nets they get a trade package that allows them to have some really good talent, also some young players who can help out their roster and Jaylen Brown he is going to be a guy who can make an immediate impact.
If you have Jaylen Brown and Simmons also on the roster along with some good role players, that you would get in this trade, you’d easily be able to compete for a playoff spot in the eastern conference for the Utah Jazz, they get so many picks as they look to rebuild the Los Angeles Lakers get Kyrie Irving, who it seems like they would definitely like to have on their roster based on some of the reporting, we’ve seen and LeBron James would like to have him on the roster based on reports, then you have Evan Fournier a guy who can shoot the ball well, but he’s on a bit of a longer term deal.
So I think that the New York Knicks, if they could trade him and add Donovan Mitchell they would do it, then cam reddish a guy whose young has a lot of potential has really high upside, especially considering that he has a seven foot one wingspan he could have a ton of upside, as a defender he’s very young, he has a ton of room to improve and I think he could be a fascinating player for the lakers to take a chance on, if you noticed I didn’t include Kendrick Nunn in this trade scenario, that’s because I think that he could be a really important player for the lakers in this upcoming season.
