The Los Angeles Lakers it looks like the New York Knicks could be looking to trade some of the players who have been out of the rotation but the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks recently touched based on a three-team trade.
And if the Lakers wanted to make a three-team trade happen Kyle kuzma returning to the team could be a really good option for them he has legitimate size at six foot nine and so does Cam reddish at six foot eight so adding both of these guys to the team could be absolutely huge for La in this trade scenario the Lakers would be trading away Kendrick Nunn along with the future second-round pick to the New York Knicks I figure that the New York Knicks wouldn’t have a problem with trading away cam reddish if he is out of the rotation.
They’re looking to trade him and they get a future second-round pick along with some additional guard depth in case some type of injuries come up then you look at Patrick Beverly going to the Washington Wizards along with the 2027 first round pick it seems like the Washington Wizards for quite some time now have been an NBA no man’s land that place where you really don’t want to be where you’re not a legitimate Contender but you’re also not one of the worst teams in the league.
So you’re not able to land a top draft pick and maybe that’s where they want to remain to be but if they do want to stay there I think that they’d be still around the same record they’re at due to all the wing debt they have if they traded away Kyle kuzma and getting a valuable future Lakers pick could be absolutely huge for them and then you look at the Los Angeles Lakers they get that size on the wing kuzma’s been averaging over 20 a game this year.
I wouldn’t expect him to do that in LA but his defensive abilities and that scoring he could bring to you on the wing could be absolutely huge and then cam reddish I feel like he just hasn’t been given a consistent role with the team and his abilities as a guy who can really provide you with a lot of offense off the badge I think he could be perfect in a spark plug role and having him and Russell Westbrook as a two-man attack Off the Bench could be absolutely great and their offense could really help out this team.
Because I think a big issue for the Lakers has been that offense especially half court offense the Lakers have been good when they get in transition but you can’t always get in transition and maybe having a guy like reddish could allow you to get some more offense going off of isolations and things like that and the shooting would just help open up the floor.
I think the same goes for kuzma having a guy who could open up the floor for you would be really good the rebounding kuzma could provide would be really good and the defense and size on the wing from both of these guys is much needed if you’re the Los Angeles Lakers.
