Emma Raducanu recently turned 23, celebrating her birthday with plenty of excitement and fun. What fans didn’t expect, however, was an unexpected Carlos Alcaraz twist right in the middle of it all. The two have developed noticeable on-court chemistry this season, and that connection seemed to make a subtle appearance in her celebrations as well.

The Brit then returned to her hometown of Bromley in South East London. She celebrated her 23rd birthday on November 13, marking the occasion with an Instagram photo dump. Among the highlights were pictures of her enjoying a meal at the popular Spanish restaurant, Cambio De Tercio.

Raducanu put together a strong 2025 season as she continued her push to regain her best form. Some of her standout performances included a semifinal run in Washington and a quarterfinal appearance in Miami. She ended the year with a 28–22 win–loss record and finished as World No. 29, with the Ningbo Open serving as her final tournament of the season.

Cambio De Tercio is a well-known Spanish restaurant in London and a favorite among tennis stars — especially Carlos Alcaraz. According to owner Abel Lusa, Alcaraz has been a regular visitor whenever he’s in town, a tradition he has maintained since he was just 16 years old..

The Spaniard’s favorite dishes include ribeye steak, lamb, prawns, octopus, and avocado, but his absolute go-to is the crispy salmon nigiri, prepared with Spanish vinegar and served on chipotle mayonnaise. He loves the restaurant so much that when he can’t stop by in person, he often orders his meals directly to his hotel.

Rafael Nadal, Garbiñe Muguruza, and Conchita Martínez are also among the many tennis stars who regularly frequent the restaurant.
