PICTURES: Daniil Medvedev’s wife Daria and daughter Alisa turn tourists and take in the sights during Russia trip

The 22-year-old also admitted that despite holding the No. 1 ranking, he still has a long road ahead before he can truly feel confident about being the best men’s tennis player in the world.

Medvedev concluded his 2025 season at the Paris Masters, where he reached the quarterfinals before falling to Alexander Zverev. The German rallied to defeat the Russian 2–6, 6–3, 7–6(5). Shortly after his campaign ended, the World No. 13 headed to the Maldives for a relaxing family vacation.

His wife, Daria, shared adorable snaps of their trip with their daughter, Alisa. Posting on her Instagram Story, she uploaded a picture from the hotel lobby. The family stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace in St. Petersburg. Here is a snippet from her Story:

Daniil Medvedev once sat for an interview with Tennisworld USA in September 2019. During this time, he was in his peak form, as he recently qualified for the finals of the US Open, and he dedicated his success to his wife, Daria. Thanking his wife for his constant support, who also played professional tennis till she was 18.

“She [Daria] is my biggest support and helps me in all aspects of life. She was a junior player and did not do too badly. She was in the top 100, maybe even higher, No. 50 or 60. She played till she was 18 and always believed that I could be in the top 10,” said Daniil Medvedev.

“As a family, we work together to make me a better player and person. She is helping me to earn more. That’s our main goal. I understand she is most special.”

Medvedev ended the 2025 season with one title at the Almaty Open. He trounced Corentin Moutet in the final round to claim the victory. In addition to this, he also reached the final of the Terra Wortmann Open and the semi-final of multiple other tournaments.
