The Los Angeles Lakers have signed Lock down Defender Nate Pierre Louis to a training camp deal.
Nate Pierre Louis is 23 years old, and he is six foot four I know that the Los Angeles Lakers have been signing a lot of guards lately especially on these training camp deals but a lot of these guys might end up playing for their g-league team over the next year League season it’s unlikely that ate Pierre louis will end up getting a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
But he can have a chance to develop in South Bay and in his college career he averaged a little over 11 points per game about six rebounds which is good for a guard his height, and he added on to assist his efficiency from both the field and three wasn’t exactly the best.
But he has time for that to come along at only 23 years old and that’s why the Lakers signing guys like this to training camp deals and then putting them on the g-league team just to keep them around the organization can be a good idea it’s a really good opportunity for the Lakers to develop young talent and potentially have guys who could play a role in their rotation maybe next year or a few years down the line maybe Nate Pierre Louis could be one of those guys because he is a guy who gives a ton of defensive effort hey guys going to be able to get steals get blocks and in college he was a good rebounder despite his size.
So if he could add a consistent three-point shot on top of what he’s already doing defensively he could project to have a good role in the NBA but that just might take some time and that’s why he could end up on the Lakers g-league team to further develop his talent.
