Looking at a massive five-team trade scenario in the midst of the rumors surrounding Russell Westbrook’s future in la Westbrook did end up listing his home in Los Angeles up for sale.
So that’s something to note and this trade involves the lakers the pacers the knicks the Utah Jazz and the Charlotte hornets so it’s a big trade and the New York Knicks have struck out on yet another star in Donovan Mitchell so this move would allow them to add in some solid players who could help them compete in this upcoming season, so in this trade the Utah Jazz would be adding Evan Fournier and Mason Plumlee, and they would be getting two future first round picks one of them being from New York via the pistons and one of them being from the hornets via the Denver Nuggets so with that said let’s get into this trade scenario.
So the Los Angeles Lakers would be adding derrick rose kelly Oubre jr buddy hield and cam reddish i like this trade for the lakers because derrick rose he could be a solid point guard for them but i know he has quite a bit of injury history and with that the lakers have other guards they could go to in Kendrick none and also patrick Beverley so i don’t see that being an issue with his injuries and then you look at kelly Oubre jr he is an athletic wing player who i think could really help out the lakers defensively the lakers also get significantly younger in this move with guys like Oubre jr, hield and cam reddish all being under 30. Cam reddish has a ton of upside as a young player buddy hield a three point sharpshooter i like a lot of things about this trade for the Los Angeles Lakers,
And they get a ton of additional depth on their roster now the lakers would be trading away Russell Westbrook to the Indiana Pacers, and they would be giving up their 2027 and 2029 first round picks and the New York Knicks would be adding Bojan Bogdanovic and Malik Beasley which i think would be a great move for them Bojan bogdanovic could provide a ton of additional scoring Malik Beasley could help space the floor out for New York and then the Charlotte hornets add myles turned.
And i think the turner could be such a great addition for them and help them solidify the five spot for this upcoming season so with all of that said when you look at this trade from the Utah Jazz’s perspective it looks like they could have some other trade options out there for players like Mike Conley Bojan bogdanovic and Jordan Clarkson but the thing about this trade is it was reported that the Utah Jazz would like to get a first-round pick for each of Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson and Malik Beasley in this trade scenario they trade away on bogdanovic and Malik Beasley, and they get back to future first round picks so based on that report that would be good for the Utah Jazz i think this move would help out the lakers depth a ton one of the off season moves that the Los Angeles Lakers made was signing Damian Jones.
