Jannik Sinner has responded to the growing speculation surrounding the striking ring recently showcased by his girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic. The couple has drawn significant attention ever since the World No. 2 publicly confirmed their relationship during his victory speech at the Vienna Open.

Sinner had his girlfriend’s full support throughout his ATP Finals campaign in Turin. Hasanovic cheered him on from the stands as he defeated Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(4), 7-5 in the final to successfully defend his year-end championship title.

Her appearance in Sinner’s player box sparked plenty of buzz among fans, especially after she was seen wearing a sparkling ring on her middle finger. However, Sinner has now put all speculation to rest. Speaking to reporters after his ATP Finals victory, the World No. 2 made it clear that the ring had nothing to do with him. He firmly stated that it was not a gift from him, shutting down the growing rumors about an engagement.

“The ring Laila showed on social media? Did I have a hand in it? No, no,” Sinner said.

Along with clearing the air about the speculation surrounding Laila Hasanovic, Jannik Sinner also reflected on his relationships within the tennis world. The Italian spoke candidly about his unique dynamic with Carlos Alcaraz and went on to reveal which players he considers his closest friends on tour.
